Create your workspace and invite your team
Set up your workspace and bring in the people who plan and build with you.
What you'll end up with
A workspace with your product managers and engineers in it, ready for your first product.
Why it matters
Ondule works best when product managers and engineers are in the same place from day one. The roadmap, the docs and the sprint all read from one record, so the more of your team is in it, the less anyone has to copy status between tools.
Before you start
- An email address you can verify
- The email addresses of 2 or 3 teammates, ideally including an engineering lead
Create your workspace
Sign up at ondule.com with Google, Microsoft or your email address.
Open the confirmation email and verify your address. The setup flow opens automatically.
In Organisation, name the workspace after your company, for example "Meridian Labs".
Set up your department
A department holds related products and their portfolio view. Meridian Labs has one called Platform Group.
On the same setup step, fill in Department, for example "Platform Group".
Add your first Product name and choose an Estimation method: points, T-shirt sizes or none.
Choose whether to turn on PI Planning for the department, then press Create workspace.
Invite your team
Open Settings from the sidebar, then go to Members.
Invite member on the Members page. Press Invite member and enter your teammate's Email.
Choose their Organisation role: Member or Organisation Admin. For members, tick the departments they can see under Department access.
Press Invite. The invitation is emailed, and it shows under Pending invitations until they accept.
Troubleshooting
My teammate didn't get the invite.
Ask them to check spam, then resend it from the members screen. Invites go to the exact address you typed, so check for typos.
Who can invite people?
Only an Organisation Admin can invite or change members. Everyone else sees the Members list as read-only.
Can I try Ondule without inviting anyone?
Yes. Explore the Meridian Labs demo, or set up one product on your own first.
